Apologies for the late post but I just have to! The long wait is over!! I massive thank you to every individual that assisted in helping is get this sorted!
The KCW community radio Cage is back up and running. Radios have been serviced with new components, cage is secured and in a suitable place!
If you haven't patrolled because you don't have a radio... the wait is over! Head on down to Kirstenhof SAPS to book out a radio.
PLEASE DONT FORGET TO GREET THE MEMBERS ON DUTY. Inform them that you are a KCW patroller collecting a radio.
There is a log book that needs to be filled in. Decals and High Vis Vest are available (Lights will be added hopefully soon).
When patrol is completed, please ensure to turn the radio OFF and log the radio back in, in log book.

- First Operation of 2023!30th January 2023
KCW recently carried out their first of many high visibility operations for the year around Kirstenhof. This was conducted with the help and continued support of SAPS and Law Enforcement.
The Operation was highly successful, with multiple vehicles fined, narcotics and related paraphernalia seized, intoxicated drivers removed off the roads with vehicles impounded, weapons confiscated, and various other criminal elements removed from our neighborhood.
One of the key objectives of the operation was to include a walking patrol to identify any possible weak points that could be used to gain entry into our neighborhood, as well as areas where informal settlements are and have been.
This information has been used to further enhance the security of our neighborhood.
KCW Patrollers volunteered much of their time and assisted as eyes and ears for our men and woman in blue. We thank you KCW Patrollers. Well Done to all involved.
To our men and woman in blue, SAPS and LE, thank you for protecting us and our Hof, and for being out and making yourselves readily available day and night for us all. We salute you.
Kind regards,
Keegan Fisher
KCW Ops and Patrol Manager
